CHILDREN AND UNDERAGE POLICY:
Kids are not allowed to come to your tattoo or piercing appointment. This is a distraction to both you and your service provider. There is also the risk of cross-contamination and is just over-all dangerous to all parties involved. We do not allow children 12 years old and under in the shop unless they are receiving a service (ex. kids ear piercing). If your child has a piercing appointment please ensure you have child care for siblings under 12 years old as they CAN NOT accompany you at your appointment. This is an adult setting and we ask you to respect that and understand why.
We do not tattoo children. Please allow your child to be a child until they are 16 years of age. Anyone under the age of 18 will require parental consent to be tattooed. They must also book a consultation before an appointment is scheduled. It is up to the artists discretion if they believe the tattoo to be appropriate for the underage client and may refuse the tattoo at any time. If the client is under 18 years old we will not tattoo wrists, forearms, neck etc. Some exceptions can be made, for example, memorial tattoos.

IN STUDIO POLICY:
We ask our clients to be respectful of our space. We ask you only bring ONE person with you for support. We have limited space so anyone not receiving a service or is not your ONE support person will be asked to wait outside. Any appointments that are done outside of our operating hours unfortunately won't be able to bring anyone in with them.

You must be 18 or older to sign for yourself. This excludes some piercings which if you are 16 or older you can sign for yourself.Please ensure you bring a physical copy of your identification with you. If you are signing for your child then a physical copy of your ID and your child's ID must be present.
GIFT CARD POLICIES:
Gift cards do not expire. However, ensure you take a photo of the front and back of the gift card. That way we can re-issue a new card if the one you had was lost. If there is no photo of the gift card we will not be able to re-issue a new card. You do need the physical gift card brought to the shop in person to be able to use it.
Photos are only accepted to re-issue a new card.
PROMO GIFT CARDS:
Promo gift cards Do expire. Please note that only the person’s name that is on the promo card can redeem the value of the card. No exceptions. You can only use one promo card per service. Promo cards cannot be combined. Promo cards cannot be used for taxes, deposits or tips as they hold no monetary value. These cards can only be used for services NOT merchandise.
Christmas Promo Cards from 2019 can only be used for tattoos NOT piercings as stated during the promo.
TATTOO DEPOSITS:
Deposits are non-refundable. They are required to secure your appointment. If we haven’t received your deposit you do not have an appointment. Generally, deposits are the cost of half of the service. However, deposit amounts do vary. The minimum deposit required at our shop is $120. Deposits may be paid by cash, credit, debit, or e-transfer. We do not accept AMEX or Pre-paid Visa and Pre-paid Mastercard. Your artist will communicate with you when it is time to send a deposit. Deposits are non-transferable. Deposits are only valid for 90 days (3 months) if you cancel your appointment and do not re-book unless you speak to the artist directly and they extend your deposit. If there are any extraneous circumstances such as moving, we will make note of your deposit for future use. There is also an option to transfer your deposit to a gift card. If you arrive to your appointment smelling of alcohol or seem to be drunk or high, you will lose your deposit and your appointment. If you have to cancel your appointment, you can only re-schedule once.
Please remember to give us the following information at the time of the deposit - artist name, date and time of appointment, and your phone number or else it may not be accepted. Lastly, please eat 2 hours before your appointment other wise you may feel unwell.

PIERCING DEPOSITS:
Deposits are non-refundable. They are required when 2 or more piercings are booked, for oral piercings, VCH piercings, dermals, and kids ear piercing. These deposits do vary in amount depending on the service chosen. In some cases, same-day walk-ins will require a deposit. These can be paid through Paypal when you book your appointment online, e-transfer, debit or credit. Please note we do not accept AMEX or Prepaid Visa or Pre-paid Mastercard. Deposits are non-transferable. If you arrive to your appointment smelling of alcohol or seem to be drunk or high, you will lose your deposit and your appointment. Lastly, please eat 2 hours before your appointment other wise you may feel unwell.
IMPORTANT: DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE And NON-TRANSFERABLE
WHY DO WE TAKE DEPOSITS?
Deposits ensure that your appointment time isn’t given to anyone else. Secondly, our artists and piercers work outside of service hours to accommodate your appointment. Please respect their time as much as they respect yours.
ARTWORK:
Our artists create custom work. They also will tattoo flash work, Pinball “Get What You Get” and other types of tattoo designs and requests. Our artists must pre-approve all ideas that are brought to us. If we feel like the idea will not transform into a nice tattoo we will decline the idea. This is because we are not money driven. We want you to leave our shop with a beautiful tattoo. However, our artists will work with you to find an alternative that you will love.
Once the design is in place you may not change your mind on its design. Only minor changes are allowed only once. If there is a complete change of design a drawing fee will be charged to you and there is potential to lose your deposit.
TOUCH-UPS:
We offer touch ups with in 6 months of the original appointment date. Some artists require a different amount of time. Contact your artist directly. We do however, charge a $20 set up fee to cover the increasing prices of PPE. Hands and feet are not included in our touch ups. All touch ups have to be done by the original artist.
CANCELLATIONS:
We require 72 hours notice to re-schedule an appointment. You can only re-schedule a tattoo appointment once. If weather is preventing you to arrive to your appointment contact your artist and we can re-schedule you.
If you are ill please contact your artist/the shop to re-schedule, you must contact your artist at least 2 hours before your scheduled appointment time. This includes symptoms of COVID 19 as well as any un-explained symptoms.
DO WE TATTOO SIGNIFICANT OTHERS NAMES?
No. We will however tattoo them if it is a memorial tattoo. We will tattoo names of children, grandparents, parents etc. We also will not tattoo fingers, lips or faces unless the artist feels comfortable offering you this service. Ask your artist for more details.
CAN I BRING ANYONE WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?
No, this is very distracting to our artists and clients. The exception is if you are a parent or legal guardian of an underage client. However, some piercers do allow a second person in the room. This is up to the artists discretion.
OUR ARTISTS RATES:
Our rates vary from min charge of $120 to $160 an hour, we also offer a full day rate of $$700-$850 (depending on the artist) plus GST. Our minimum charge is $120. Apprentice rates do change depending on skill level.
JEWELLERY:
If your gem has fallen out of your jewellery it is covered by warranty. If the post disconnects from the gem by the weld it is covered by warranty. The piece of jewellery must be returned to qualify for warranty. If the jewellery looks as though it was done by improper use of the jewellery, warranty will be voided.
ID POLICY:
ALL appointments require ID except for consultations and jewellery changes. PHOTOS OF ID ARE NOT ACCEPTED. The ID used must be government issued. This can include birth certificates, drivers licence, identification cards, health card, passport, PAL, treaty card etc.It is up to our clients to thoroughly review our policies before their tattoo or piercing appointment.
Again, we try to be as transparent as possible for all of our clients regarding our policies. We send our policies by email for our tattoo clients but we ask that you review the policies on our website as well.
